Missy Schrott

Missy Schrott is the Managing Editor of the Alexandria Times in Alexandria, VA, just outside of Washington, D.C. Schrott graduated from the University of Richmond in May 2017 with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and English with a minor in music. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Missy got her start at an internship with NakYouOut, an arts and culture online magazine that covered exciting events in the Burgh. When she’s not interviewing locals or attending hearings, Missy enjoys playing piano, running on Mount Vernon trail and brunching around Alexandria and D.C.
