Town & Country Veterinary Services (Hastings, MN)
CONTINUED PRACTICE WOULD PRESENT AN IMMINENT RISK OF HARM”
Town & Country Veterinary Services is owned and operated by husband-and-wife veterinary/co-owner duo Jonathan and Julia Woodman. Both individuals’ licenses have been suspended within the past five years for multiple alleged fatal errors.
In 2016, Minnesota’s Board of Veterinary Medicine, the licensing agency that oversees veterinary conduct in the state, suspended Dr. Jonathan Woodman’s license, stating that his “continued practice would present an imminent risk of harm.” Dr. Julie Woodman, his spouse, was placed on a stipulated order of stayed suspension in 2015 after two dogs were found to have died in her care as a result of skin infections and “thermal burns” that a board certified veterinary pathologist confirmed to have taken place ‘antemortem.’
By September of 2017, Dr. Julie Woodman was able to complete the requirements as stipulated by the Board. Dr. Jonathan Woodman’s license, however, remains temporarily suspended; there are no updates to his license status since August 2016. We have contacted the Board to confirm his status.
