Hospital Makes False AAHA-Accreditation Claim On Its Website
Although the hospital states on its website that it is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), a highly regarded non-profit organization for small animal veterinary hospitals founded in 1933 and the sole accrediting authority for small animal hospitals in the U.S. and Canada (less than 15% of veterinary hospitals in the U.S. are AAHA-accredited and those accredited must meet several hundred rigid requirements), in fact, the AAHA website does not list Northside Animal Hospital.
The Canine Review has reached out to both Northside Animal Hospital as well as to the AAHA for comment.
